Event: Aruandê Capoeira Houston

Mestre Demétrius and Aruandê Capoeira Houston are proud to present their latest Batizado & Troca de Cordas.  This is our smaller event of the year, but we hope to bring the summer in with style.  A variety of performances and dances, put together by our students and guided by our special guests, will be on display as well as the grand finale: the baptism of the newest students to join Aruandê Capoeira. ------------ Featuring: Puxada de Rede, Macuele, Axé Dance and solo Capoeira performances.  Our special guests will be joined by other guests from the region as we celebrate Brazilian culture and welcome our newest students into the Aruandê Capoeira and the world of Capoeira itself.
